Christophe Willem

Christophe Willem was born in 1983 and grew up in Deuil-la-Barre. He learned to play the piano at a young age and was composing his own songs by the age of 14. He studied to become a calculus professor and a Lawyer when he landed a role in a 2004 film called Alive. In 2006 he won the Nouvelle Star Pop-Idol contest, where he earned the nickname "La Tortue" (The Turtle), from one of the judges of the contest. His first ablum titled "Inventaire" was #1 on the french charts in 2007 and has sold more than 600,000 copies.
